The Yamaha YHT-670 is 5.1 channel home theater-in-a-box system offered by Yamaha. The complete package includes a 6.1 channel home theater receiver (HTR-5950), a DVD changer (DV-C6860), a subwoofer (YST-SW012) and a compact 5-speaker package (NS-AP2600).

The NS-AP2600 speaker system comprises of two front and two rear speakers with a 2-1/2" woofer and a 1/2" tweeter and a center speaker with dual 2-1/2" woofers and a 1/2" tweeter while the subwoofer has a 100 watt power output and an 8" driver. The HTR-5950 is a 6.1 channel receiver with 110 watts delivered to its 6 channels for a total of 660 watts of output power. It uses Digital ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) for a higher quality sound and features a wide array of multi-channel decoding and processing options, including Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX/ProLogic IIx, and DTS Digital Surround decoding. Other features include component video upconversion, silent cinema and it is XM satellite ready.  The DV-C6860 is a pregressive scan 5-disc DVD changer capable of playing virtually any disc type, and is compatible with MP3, JPEG, WMA and picture CDs.
