Product Shot 1 The Pros:Plenty of power output, good for a medium sized room where you want a surround effect. Configuration is reasonably simple, doesn't take much work. Bass extends to the very low frequencies and doesn't leave anything out.

The Cons:Bass is a bit indistinct and lacks punch. Higher frequencies have a bit of a hiss behind them. Doesn't have an HDMI connection available.

The Yamaha YHT-370 is a 5.1 channel home theater system offered by Yamaha.  The system comprises of a 5.1 channel receiver, two front speakers with a 6-1/2" woofer and a 3/4" tweeter, one center speaker with dual 3" woofers and a 3/4" tweeter, two surround speakers with a 3" woofer and a 1/2" tweeter and a subwoofer with a 10" woofer.

  All speakers are video-shielded to not interfere with TV signals. The 6-channel amplifier delivers 120 watts to each channel, including the subwoofer and also features 2 sets of main speaker outputs. There are 3 component inputs and one component output with video switching, and several other ins/outs including 3 audio and 4 A/V inputs and 2 optical audio and 1 coaxial audio input. It is also XM satellite ready, with option XM mini-tuner package and he XM HD surround-compatible. It is compatible with several surround sound modes, including Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Pro Logic II processing. The built in AM/FM tuner has 40 station presets.
