Sony DAV-HDX277WC

$400.00 Released February, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Setup is quick and easy, not much to it. Plenty of bass output with a tight detailed sound. Interfaces well with the TV, easy to get everything coordinated.

The Cons:Controls are a little complicated, takes some getting used to. Instructions aren't very useful, get confusing right away. Lacks definition for audiophiles wanting to listen to music in high fidelity.

Another entry from Sony’s BRAVIA line, the DAV-HDx277WC sheds some of the features of others in the line for a focus on optimizing multi-room listening capability. The player can support up to four of Sony’s S-AIR wireless units for plug-and-play listening without any set-up.

This player, does; however, like the others, feature a 1080p upscaling 5-CD/DVD changer with HDMI output, BRAVIA Sync for optimization with Sony BRAVIA HDTVs, and Sony’s Digital Media Port for digital media management and iPod cradle.
