The Sony BDV-IS1000 is a Blu-ray disc, 5.1 speaker home theater system offered by Sony.  The main unit is a Blu-ray disc player (profile 1.1) capable of playing virtually any disc format and is wireless multi-room audio ready allowing you to listen to your favorite music in any room with the optional S-Air transmitter and AirStation client.

  There are dual HDMI inputs as well as composite and component inputs for other devices and features an HDMI output with with 1080p upscaling. 5.1 surround sound is provided by a passive 100W subwoofer and five golf ball sized speakers.  The included WAHT-SA10 S-AIR wireless receiver eliminates wire clutter accross the room for a clean surround set up. Sony’s digital media port allows you to listen to music from an iPod, Walkman, Bluetooth device or PC with ease.  For an easy and optimized speaker setup, simply plug in the included microphone and place in your prefered listening position, push a single button and delays are automatically adjusted based on your speaker arrangement.
