The Samsung HT-Z520 is a 5.1 channel, 5-disc DVD home theatre system offered by Samsung. The system comprises of a DVD player/receiver, two bookshelf front speakers, two rear bookshelf speakers, a center speaker and a subwoofer.

It has an HDMI output and extra HDMI input allowing you to take full advantage of your HDTV. The DVD player handles virtually any disc type and can be used to rip music CDs to MP3 format using the USB host play function. The system can also read MP3, JPEG, WMA, WMV and DivX file types and there is an optional dock for iPod and iPhone connectivity. There is also an included wireless receiver module, which attach to the the rear speakers so there are no cables from the front to the rear of your setup. This system also features ASC (Auto Sound Calibration) which automatically configures the speakers and subwoofer for ideal sound using the included microphone.
