Product Shot 1 The Pros:Fast and helpful tech support relating to this model. 5-disc changer is a bonus for this price point. Compact speakers and sub are easier to place in smaller spaces than many typical HTIBs.

The Cons:Setup instructions are not clear enough, difficult to connect to TVs. Not very compatible with additional players, does not process multi-channel audio from external sources. IPod dock not universally compatible with iPods.

The Samsung HT-Z410 is a 1000 watt, all-in-one 5.1 channel surround system offered by Samsung. The package includes a 5-disc DVD player/AV receiver, a 166 watt subwoofer, four 166 watt satellite speakers and a 170 watt center speaker.

The 5-disc DVD player/AV receiver can play audio CDs and DVDs as well as burnable discs including MP3, WMA and JPEG photo discs, and also has a built in FM tuner with 15 station presets. It supports MPEG-4 and DivX video formats as well as DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II and Dolby Digital surround sound audio formats. It also has a USB host function and has a built in iPod dock.  The DVD player features 1080p upconversion through the HDMI ouput, with additional component and composite video outputs and one RCA, one mini-jack (front) and one optical audio input. The inlcluded Auto Sound Calibration (ASC) system uses an external microphone to callibrate the sound output to match the acoustics of your room. The Samsung HT-X70 comes with a remote control, auto-calibration microphone, iPod docking station with 5 inserts and video cable.
