Samsung HT-X70

$275.00 Released May, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Up-conversion of DVDs looks very near HD, nice sharp picture. Audio is good enough for most people's needs, provides good surround sound. More features than systems that run twice the price, very good value.

The Cons:Doesn't have the spacious audio that audiophiles will like - a few shortcomings in output. Not capable of big volumes, won't fill a large room. No tone controls in 5.1 mode, and only some basic EQ presets in stereo.

The Samsung HT-X70 is a 1200 watt all-in-one 5.1 channel surround system offered by Samsung. The package includes a 5-disc DVD player/AV receiver, a 170 watt subwoofer, four 170 watt satellite speakers and a 180 watt center speaker.
