Samsung HT-X50
$150.00
Released April, 2007
The Pros:5-DVD player is convenient, perfect for discs loaded with music, can make one for each style. Good codec support for AVI and WMV files, never have a compatibility problem. User interface is well designed, easy to work with and lets you customize it.
The Cons:Only the 1 HDMI input, makes some setups a bit awkward. Speaker shape makes them seem like cheap PC speakers instead of stereo satellites. Needs a software update to work properly, won't read a number of file formats until this is done.
Samsung's HT-X50 home theatre system pairs a compact 5.1 surround speaker system with a progressive-scan 5-disc DVD changer. The space-saving satellite style speakers are wireless ready to eliminate the need for cluttered cables.
