Samsung HT-X250

$420.00 Released March, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Gorgeous piano-gloss black finish, sleek speaker design. Receiver can be placed vertically or horizontally (the front display adjusts as necessary)--something rarely seen from AV receiver units. Good feature set for the price and performance.

The Cons:Inconsistent wireless performance--the wireless unit on the speakers often has trouble syncing with the receiver.

Samsung's HT-X250 home theatre system pairs the dual setting design of the HT-X200 with a full 5.1 surround speaker set-up. The receiver can be placed horizontally, like a TV stand, or vertically, next to the television, and the display automatically rotates to match the position.
