The Cons:Controls are a bit confusing at first, takes a bit of getting used to. Long lag time when switching from TV to DVR or other systems hooked up to the receiver. DVD player takes a long time to load up a disc and reacts slowly.

The Samsung HT-TZ522T is a low-end 5.1 home theater system comprised of five speakers, sub woofer, and a receiver unit. Although the system's disc player is capable of upscaling standard definition dvds closer to high definition resolutions, the player is not compatible with blu-ray discs.

The system's speakers utilize an automatic calibration program (ASC) when positioned in a room that automatically optimizes sounds for high sound quality. The speakers are also wireless capable for a multiple speaker set up without the cords running to each individual device. The system does not have any internet functionality but a USB port is included as an additional media option for music and pictures, as well a HDMI input and output.
