It features Dolby Digital 5.1 channel surround sound technology to provide a full, wide band frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz.  The RTD315 includes a progressive scan DVD player that offers multi-format playback to give it support for rewritable discs, VCD, SVCD, MP3, and WMA files.  Unlike the RTD215, the DVD player offers 1080p upconversion and has an HDMI output for high definition graphics.  It also has a digital AM/FM tuner and a USB input for playing music, photos, and videos directly from an MP3 player or digital camera.  The system is available in a black finish and comes with a 90-day limited warranty.

LouieLouie: #rca_rtd315 The term 'Entry Level' may be overstated. This product has just enough power to provide adequate sound to a small doghouse. Nothing more. The speaker system (such as it is) provided with my television produced better sound. Sorry, I can't provide any 'Pro' statements. It has been uninstalled and returned to its box. Feb 27, 10
