The Philips MCD139/37 is a micro-DVD theater system offered by Philips. The system consists of a compact DVD player/receiver, a 50 watt subwoofer and two 25 watt speakers. The DVD player can play DVDs, VCDs, CDs and a variety of writeble CDs, including MP3, WMA and picture CDs.

It features a progressive scan component video output for optimized image quality and Dolby Digital decoding for the ultimate audio experience for movies. The digital sound control gives a choice of pre-sets for various music styles and the dynamic bass boost maximizes your music enjoyment by emphasizing the bass content.
