The Pros:Digital audio inputs to enjoy the speakers with other devices. Stands are built into the equation. Profile 2.0.

The Cons:Poor value - overpriced for limited features and future versatility. Not as versatile as a home theater system based on a receiver - no way to replace DVD player, upconvert standard SD content to HD, etc... Too expensive for the majority of consumers.

The Philips HTS7540 is a Blu-ray 5.1 home theater system offered by Philips. The system is comprised of a Blu-ray disc player, four 125 watt tall-boy speakers, a 250 watt center speaker and a 250 watt subwoofer.
