The Cons:Small drivers for speakers @ 2.5". Only 6.5" driver for the sub-woofer. Very limited inputs/outputs - only 1xHDMI and 1xdigital optical audio.

The Panasonic SC-PT954 home theatre is a 900-watt (RMS) surround speaker system paired with one of Panasonic's upconverting 5-disc DVD players. The amplifier and speakers, while powerful, also promise rich surround sound even at very low volume - the rear speakers are also wireless for minimal clutter.

The HDMI-compatible DVD player converts standard definition DVDs (480p) to full high definition 1080p picture, for maximum clarity. The player also has a built-in hard disc drive for storage of digital media, and is iPod-ready. Also included is Panasonic's VIERA Link system, which surrenders basic control functions of the player to an attached Panasonic VIERA HDTV for ease of use and set-up.
