Panasonic SC-HT810V

$500.00 Released August, 2003

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Compact design, fits into a narrow space. Plays all kinds of disc formats, very little it can't do other tan Blu-ray. Surround effects are very good, offers great signal separation.

The Cons:Doesn't include a digital audio input for external sound sources. Remote is awkward and takes a bit of getting used to. Takes a few seconds to load up a new disk.

Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound processing accompanies progressive-scan video and 10-bit digital-to-analog conversion. The satellite speakers are wall-mountable for greater versatility in home theater setups. Beyond the greater power output and slightly modified speaker design, the SC-HT810V is essentially identical to the entry-level model in its line, the HT800V.
