Panasonic SC-BTX70
$1,000.00
Released December, 2005
The Pros:Modern and stylish looking design. Excellent channel separation for a clear 3D sound environment. Fully integrates with the Viera Link system so it can be controlled from one remote.
The Cons:Sounds a bit washed out, some areas are a bit weak. Microphone cable for the automated setup is a bit short for medium-sized living rooms.
The SC-BTX70 is a higher-end Blu-ray home theater system from Panasonic. It employs 7.1-channel virtual surround sound within a 2.1-speaker setup, a space-saving design for those without room for a full surround sound system, but one which may not deliver a full surround sound experience.
