The Onkyo HT-S9100THX is the flagship model from Onkyo's 2008 lineup of home theater systems. The HT-S9100THX in essence is a THX-certified version of the stepdown Onkyo HT-S7100, with an upgraded speaker package.

This home theater in a box includes the Onkyo HT-R960 a/v receiver (very similar to the Onkyo TX-SR606) with 7 speakers, and a 290 Watt, 12", front-firing sub-woofer, and an iPod dock. The receiver can deliver 130 Watts per channel of power, decodes Dolby TrueHD and dts HD-MA, 4 x HDMI inputs, and analog video upconversion to 1080i over HDMI with its Faroudja DCDi chipset.
