The Pros:Good interface with the iPod, gives great access to the media inside. Attractive drivers with nice angles, look very sophisticated. Setup is very easy, everything connects as you'd expect, no instructions needed.
The Cons:Doesn't have the clarity, volume or definition that audiophiles will crave.
The LG LHB977 is the mid-grade model of LG's latest LHB home theater system line which was announced at the 2009 CES event in Las Vegas. The series includes three new home entertainment receivers; the LG LHB954, LG LHB977, LG LHB979.

The LG LHB977 lacks a bundled wireless rear speaker and the slick champagne glass design when compared to the higher end LG LHB979; but still offers the same general features. Those general features include a built-in Blu-Ray player that is fully BD-Live compatible, full Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, access to Netflix, CinemaNow, and Youtube streaming, 5.1 channel sound, two tallboy standing speakers, an iPod device dock, full 1080p upscaling of standard DVDs, two extra HDMI ports (3 total), and an integrated USB media port. The entire LG LHB series is set to release sometime in May, 2009 but there is no word yet on pricing.
