Released January, 2009
The Pros:Bass is strongly represented, very powerful, great for movie sound effects. Interfaces well with the TV, allows full control. Simple to setup, only takes a short while to do.
The Cons:Doesn't always shut off properly, sometimes emits strange noises or won't go into standby properly. When listening to music CDs the subwoofer tends to suffer from feedback.
The Klipsch CS-700 is a compact, 2.1-channel home theater system designed for users who desire high-performance surround sound without the hassle of hooking up numerous wires. The second of two Klipsch CS home theater systems, the Klipsch CS-700 is an upgrade from the Klipsch CS-500 in that it features KlipschCast wireless technology that transmits CD-quality audio to its down-firing, wireless 10” (versus 6.5”) subwoofer.
