JVC TH-SB100

The JVC TH-SB100 is a 3.1 channel blu-ray home theater system outfitted with a sound bar speaker and a wireless subwoofer. Cited as JVC’s first-ever Blu-ray home-theater-in-a-box system, the JVC TH-SB100 boasts a BD-Live-ready Blu-ray player (needs a USB drive) that offers AVCHD playback and can be connected to the Internet to access BD Live 2.0 features such as firmware updates, move trailers, updated subtitles, online shopping, and much more.

In addition, the TH-SB100 comes equipped with an internal amplifier that outputs 30 watts to the left, right, and center portions of the sound bar speaker, not to mention 100 watts to the subwoofer. The TH-SB100 also boasts Dolby Digital/DTS decoding, six-mode digital signal processing, an HDMI 1.3 connection with Deep Color and x.v. color, a USB host, a LAN port for the BD Live, component & composite video outputs, and analog/optical/coaxial audio outputs. The JVC TH-SB100 retails for $699.95 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
