The Cons:Setup isn't completely user friendly, takes some time to work out. Receiver relies on the on-screen display to be set up, doesn't have many buttons on the unit itself.
The TH-G40 from JVC is a complete home theater system that features 1000 watts of power in its five speakers and powered subwoofer. It can decode both Dolby Digital as well as DTS signals, plus Dolby Pro Logic II.

Its DVD player is progressive scan and is capable of upconverting to 1080p via HDMI. The system also is noteworthy for featuring an Ipod dock, and has an FM tuner, capability to play WMA, MP3, and JPEG-photos.
