The Pros:Basic setup is quick and easy. Solid construction, feels very durable like it will last a long time. Sound output is very clear, no distortion detectable.
The Cons:Controls are pretty complicated, takes some getting used to. Bass is a little weak, could use a better subwoofer.

The system also carries a progressive scan DVD player that can upconvert to 720p and 1080i via HDMI, though it is incapable of displaying 1080p. The system carries USB input and an AM/FM tuner. The JVC TH-D50 also can play MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG, MPEG-4 (ASP)/DivX, though it cannot display MPEG-1 as its successor the D60 can.
