The Bose Lifestyle V20 Home Theater System is Bose's mid-range home entertainment system that does not include a media player. It is still, in general, a high-end home theater system. The system includes 4 satellite units, each of which contains two separate speakers that can pivot to customize sound direction.

There is also a powerful center channel speaker, as well as a subwoofer. The subwoofer is supposed to produce the same high-quality low-register sounds no matter where it is in the room. The audio system automatically calibrates itself based on room dimensions and properties. Though the V20 system does not feature any sort of media player, it does come with a media station with multiple inputs and up to two HDMI inputs. The media station can be hidden away, leaving only a display panel to show information and enable the remote control. The system automatically upscales video playback up to 1080p, and is compatible with BoseLink which enables other Bose audio devices to connect to the system from around the house.
