The VS-2 video enhancer is a recent technological innovation by Bose; it simplifies the integration of the Lifestyle system with other video sources by providing a secondary set of inputs and outputs. As for the ADAPTiQ audio-calibration system, it automatically adjusts the system to the acoustics of the specific room utilized. Included also is a myriad of advanced decoding technologies — Videostage 5, Digital 5.1, and DTS — that ensure a high-quality, multi-channel surround sound experience from nearly any a/v source. In fact, with all the inputs and outputs on both the unit and the video enhancer, the system can connect to nearly anything, including external CD/DVD players, televisions, VCRs, PVRs, DVRs, cable boxes, satellite receivers, etc. Plus, the Lifestyle 35 is built with 1080p-upscaling technology, allowing it to dramatically improve regular standard-definition content.
